On Jun. 10, 2013, Shartex attended the Procurement Practice Forum held in Jingtan, Jiangsu by the Fair Labor Association (FLA), China’s Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, and Chenfeng Group Co, Ltd. at the forum, Chairman of FLA emphasized the scarcity of resources and advocated enterprises to pursue sustainable development. The industry peers, brand owners, suppliers and association representatives at the forum exchanged ideas and put forward many new idea about supply chain management, suppliers cooperation strategy and production capacity arrangement. The forum also put forward two balance ponits needed for China at present: the balance point between purchasers’ expenditure and suppliers’ labor cost, and the balance point between the workers’ ideal working hours and the wages, which aroused a heated discussion. Shartex agrees with FLA’s ideas as sustainable development is the consistent pursuit of Shartex, and Shartex will unswervingly fulfill its social responsibilities.
