On Apr. 20, 2013 a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Lushan County, Sichuan. Later, Shartex immediately launched the public emergency response plan by immediately contacting its Sichuan employees on the phone, to ask about the personal safety of them and their families, until having confirmed the safety of every employee. In the morning of Apr. 22, colleagues from Management Department went to Shanghai Charity Foundation and donated RMB 100,000 on behalf of Shartex to people in the disaster area, so as to show care for our compatriots. In face of the disaster, Shartex was people-oriented, cared about the safety of employees, actively took on social responsibility, actively make donations, and required every employee to actively respond to government’s call and support the earthquake relief work with practical actions.
